About: Las Flores Red Bourbon Natural Finca Las Flores was founded in the 1990s. It grew from an 18,000-tree farm to a 90,000-tree estate. In 2006, the Ayure family dived into the world of specialty coffee by participating in the Cup of Excellence competition. Since then, they’ve worked towards improving and differentiating their green coffee offerings with the help of their son, Johan.
Located in the city of Acevedo in the Huila department at 1,730 masl, Finca Las Flores is no stranger to taking calculated risks and reaping the rewards. The estate is continuously researching and experimenting with coffee varietals and coffee-processing methods to develop distinct Colombian coffee profiles. Today, the Ayure family cultivates Red, Pink, and Yellow Bourbon, Tabi, Java, Maracaturra, and Geisha varietals, as well as exotics like Wush Wush and Sidra.
This natural process Red Bourbon coffee, sourced in partnership with Lohas Beans, is a unique lot of unroasted coffee from Huila. The complex cup profile includes floral, fruity, and winey notes, with a lactic acidity complemented by a creamy body.
Roast Level:
This is a light roast giving us around a 12% weight loss. The beans might appear to be darker due to the nature of the natural beans. We drop this about 15 degrees after first crack starts.

Roasted Fresh Daily. Usually ships same day with 1-5 day shipping. We roast on a fluid bed air roaster. This means less acidity for people with sensitive stomachs. Cleaner, no hydrocarbons or charring. Questions are welcomed! We love coffee and hope you love ours as well.

Easily the most dialed in coffee I've been able to brew the entire year. Not listed on the bag as flavor profile but I'm getting smacked in the face with dark chocolate and raspberry/cherry flavors. It's incredible.

Some of the best ice brew I’ve had! The smell is amazing and it tastes just as fruity. Definitely need to try this one! You won’t regret it.

Always a favorite for espresso or latte. But makes a great pour over as well. Either way the flavors are amazing!!

Absolutely love the red bourbon natural. I’ve been trying from many different roasters. This one is right at the top. I would highly recommend.

Super fruity beans right out of the gate. If you’re a fan of fruit forward, sweet beans, this is it. Highly recommend for pour over!

Great coffee. A little woody, but some nice fruit and floral stuff going on. Love Good Brothers

This was the first time I tried this coffee. I saw Hoon brew it and talk about it on his Hoon'sCoffee YouTube channel, and I was very intrigued. I am most typically a drinker and lover of rich, chocolaty, nutty espresso - like the Neapolitan blend. But I really wanted to try this lighter, fruity coffee. I was very happily pleased. I enjoy it most using an Aeropress - clean and crisp yet still full of flavor. Great coffee!

Wow is all that I can say. This coffee is a fruit bomb with all of the great sensory experiences. As soon as I opened the bag, I was hit with the most pleasant fruit smell. The flavor notes are spot on. Am I drinking coffee or fruit juice?! It’s so good. I definitely get that papaya note and I also tasted bubblegum and banana. It’s incredible!

This is a special Colombian coffee, like probably the best of the year that I have roasted. When people try it, they have this look like they’ve had their face smacked, but in a good way. It must be experienced to truly understand the complexity of fruit flavors this coffee offers. Simply an amazing offering.

Very interesting bean with bubblegum flavor. It works pretty good for Americano and pour-over. Love it.

Truly stunning coffee.

Opening up the bag, the smell was absolutely delightful. Grinding the beans the smell was even more intense and then brewing the coffee; I used a French press. It was the most excruciating four minutes of my life. I couldn't wait for my first cup and it did not disappoint! My mornings are spent with this delicious blend.

At first, I did not like it as it was too sour and "boozy like". Being a rookie in coffee I remembered to grind finer if this was the case, and wow what a difference. It was very good after dialing it in correctly and not sour at all. Was very smooth and crisp and could identify the Strawberry and some other notes. I used Fellow Ode gen 1 SSP MP burrs setting 4.1 (medium-closer to fine side) but will try a tad lower next brew. V60 used 18 gram 300g water 205 degrees. Bloom 40grams for about 30 seconds. 1 Single pour as used from Tales coffee Ytube. (for anyone who may be interested to try).

One of the best coffees I’ve had so far. It’s become my favorite one from the others I have tried.

Delightful coffee that is easy to dial in for an espresso or pour over. The tasting notes were spot-on and yummy.
