When grinding you will get delicate floral raspberry with rose petals. On first sips the medium acidity hits the front of the tongue with notes of rose petals and white honey with slight raspberry notes. The acidity tends to be present and linger after drinking. This is a coffee that will goes down easy. Meaning the cup is empty before realizing it. Overall this coffee feels fluffy. Its very clean for a natural and not overpowering. We tend to reflect the colors of the bags/label of what the coffee represents and feel these tones describe it well. This coffee does benefit from resting and find on drip 7-12 days seems to be a sweet spot.
Roast Level:
Light - Medium . Our goal is to bring as much sweetness and character of the bean forward without over roasting the flavors out of the bean. We like to drop this bean in the middle of first crack.

This was my first venture trying a Geisha coffee and Good Brothers coffee roasters. I was thinking I would drink it as an espresso made with pressure profiling and higher temps. However, I was so pleased with it as V60 pour over, it has become my second coffee of the day after my get up and go cappuccino made with a different dark roast also from Good Brothers. Sold on this coffee. Very good coffee. To say the least, I haven't tasted this good of a coffee in a long time. Can drink it straight out of the expresso cup. It has a floral, rosy, complex dancing on the taste buds type of taste that I have not tasted before. Took a week to arrive at my place though, which I owe to the California floodings that we have had from the pineapple express. Last time it took only 2 days. Nonetheless, it was worth the wait. 5 Stars!!!!!

Oh my…. A delicate wonderful cup of goodness. Doesn’t need much other than a little hot frothy milk. I tried it with a couple of pumps of syrup, but it was too sweet. Whether vanilla or butter pecan, both were too sweet. Note: to extract, I had to grind finer than normal and water temp as high as possible. Loved it.
