This Guatemala is a medium roast, comfort-driven cup built around soft chocolate sweetness and a silky texture, with a subtle fruit note that adds brightness without overpowering the chocolate base.
The wet aroma opens with walnut, macadamia and soft chocolate, with a touch of cantaloupe-like sweetness that lifts the aroma.
Hot, the cup is smooth and rounded, showing milk chocolate, Hershey-style syrup, and macadamia nut. The body feels creamy and satisfying, and the finish carries a long chocolate linger. There’s also a hint of brownie mix richness in the center of the cup that adds depth with a orange ripe cantaloupe that lingers.
As the coffee cools, the cup becomes more expressive. Soft chocolate and praline sweetness develop alongside a gentle cantaloupe fruit note that brightens the cup without taking it away from its chocolate foundation. The nutty macadamia character remains consistent throughout, giving the coffee a fluffy, dessert-like balance.
Overall this Santa Rosa delivers a smooth, chocolate-forward Guatemala with a touch of melon sweetness and a creamy texture.

Just went through a full 5 lb bag of this coffee and my entire family was super impressed with this bag!! Brent and his roaster Sal are seriously up there with the best in the business! If your looking for a roaster who always has new coffees just because then this isnt the roaster for you…. Good Brothers is the place you go to when you want to support an honest hardworking small business and actually cares what they sell their customers. Brent wont just sell whats presented to him but instead offers what he thinks his customers will like and what is of high quality!! Smaller assortment of offerings and super responsive in communication!!
