Copper Reserve Espresso Blend
Dark Chocolate • Orange Peel • Smooth
Rich chocolate, deep sweetness, and a rustic character in a blend crafted for espresso. We’re getting dark chocolate up front, followed by Just a hint of orange peel and a rounded molasses sweetness. As the cup settles, notes of sweet subtle rustic notes and a touch of sarsaparilla adding depth, leading into a long, lingering finish. It reminded me of an "OLD FASHION" Drink for some reason Hence the cover!
There’s a classic, nostalgic quality to this coffee—the combination of orange, dark sweetness, and rustic depth feels right at home with the Copper Reserve name. It pulls a beautiful shot with the bold flavor and smooth character we enjoy in a medium-to-dark roast espresso.
Half of this blend is our Sumatra Ache Double Picked Harimau Tiger Micro-lot, paired with an equal portion of Guatemala un-release coffee. The Harimau Tiger brings the cleaner, sweeter Sumatran character we love, with cocoa, citrus, and rustic depth that carry naturally into this blend.
A rich, satisfying espresso with dark chocolate, orange peel, molasses, and a smooth, lingering finish.
Behind the Blend:
I do think drip drinkers will enjoy this blend but really shines on espresso. Get your cameras out when making a shot. The crema and texture is incredible. The goal was to have a more developed espresso shot with a good amount of sweetness and just a touch of roast while still having sweetness.
