It is an excellent departure from my very traditional Italian espresso blends. While they are my reference, this had some excellent flavor notes, including caramel as listed on the label. Way back about 15 years ago, I managed a cafe, so I've had lots of experience. I enjoy the Hoon gear videos & he is how I learned about Good Brothers. I support several suppliers, and Good Brothers is on my coffee contacts list to order from in the future.

Great company, great coffee! Seriously fast shipping, the roast date is literally only days before we recieve it! The Liquid Amber is all I've tried so far because I like it so much. As I read, saw, heard, on the net, the crema is unreal and the body of the shot is to me anyway very prominent chocolate notes, maybe caramel? Anyway it's exactly what I love in an esspresso shot. This is my 3rd order and so far it seems very consistent.

I was able to get very consistent shots. I have a Breville Barista Pro and found a 17g dose works well. My wife and myself love the taste and how smooth it is on the palette. She likes it hot, I usually have it iced.

Liquid Amber is definitely my favorite for espresso. It has a bold, rich, flavor that's never bitter. This coffee tastes great as a pour over or Americano, but really shines in steamed milk drinks. The amount of crema you get with liquid amber is amazing.

I have a Breville Barista Express and am trying to perfect that perfect draw. I usually have digestive issues with the darker roast coffees but it is true that it depends on the skill of the roasting. I had a wonderful draw, full of crema and am not experiencing any after effects. My preference in taste is for a medium roast but for those that like the punch of a dark roast, it is great. My next attempt will be a medium roast from Good Brothers and I hope that I will have the same syrupy draw with wonderful crema.
